Coverage boundary

This is a launch-day route, not a claimed 100% guide

Big Walk released one day before this page was checked. The official sources confirm a beginning, middle and end but do not publish chapter names, collectible totals or ending variants. The route below is based on a dated community guide index and one fully reviewed opening-area guide.

Spoiler-light progression overview

01

Tutorial area

Learn interaction and movement with the group, then move toward the Beach control structure.

02

Beach Crosswalk

This opening gate is fixed. A launch-day community walkthrough documents four nearby cooperative challenges, a control-panel key and a sequence of key cutters that lowers the bridge.

03

Red Tower · Map Room

After the Crosswalk, a community route recommends the Red Tower next. Its reward opens the Map Room, which makes wider exploration easier.

04

Blue Tower · Trains

The same route continues to the Blue Tower and uses its progress to unlock the train network.

05

Green Tower · Chairlift

The recommended third open-world target is the Green Tower, documented as the route to the chairlift.

06

Yellow Tower · Tunnels

The community index places the Yellow Tower after Green and associates it with the tunnel network.

Flexible after the opening: the community author says later tower puzzles are not locked to one tower and the Red → Blue → Green → Yellow order is a recommendation. The Beach puzzles are the fixed exception because the Crosswalk blocks access to the wider world.

Beach Crosswalk: reveal the opening solution

Show the opening-area structure and puzzle hints

A community walkthrough places the Beach control panel behind the large character-customization structure near the river and sand. The panel holds a golden key but requires four red progress pieces from nearby cooperative challenges.

  1. Crane: look for a way one player can raise another high enough to reach the control interaction.
  2. Spyglass: one player must maintain an interaction while another follows the revealed direction to the reward.
  3. Blue house: separate the roles inside and outside, then communicate a symbol sequence in order.
  4. Green scaffolding: coordinate two controls on opposite sides with tight timing.

Insert the four progress pieces to release the golden key. The key does not fit the bridge immediately: follow the directional sequence through the nearby key-cutting machines, then return to the Crosswalk mechanism to lower the bridge.

This summary deliberately omits map coordinates, exact symbol answers and screenshots. For the fully illustrated community solution, use the original Screen Hype Crosswalk guide.

When progress appears blocked

  • Return to the active control structure. Count its empty progress slots before searching the entire map.
  • Review the last reward. A key or progress object may need another transformation before it fits the obvious lock.
  • Keep at least two players together. The official FAQ says solo progress is intentionally limited.
  • Check the world setting. Some targets scale with the host's 2-player, 3-player or 4-plus selection.
  • Use challenge skipping for access needs. The host can enable it when starting a session.
  • Preserve the discovery. Ask for a landmark or interaction hint before opening a complete puzzle answer.
