Where can you play Big Walk?
The official FAQ lists Windows and Mac through Steam, Mac through the Mac App Store, PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch 2. No Microsoft Store version is listed for Windows, and no other platforms are planned at this time. That excludes Xbox, PS4 and the original Nintendo Switch from the current list.

All listed versions support the same advertised 2–12 player cooperative structure and crossplay. The host's world setting adapts for two, three or four-plus participants.

Windows
Choose for configurable graphics
Best fit when your PC meets the published requirements and you want mouse/keyboard, controller support and graphics controls.
Mac
Choose the store before checking specs
The Steam build lists macOS 15, M1 and 16 GB RAM minimum. The Mac App Store listing separately says macOS 12+ and 3.4 GB. Use a Join Code on the App Store version.
PlayStation 5
Choose for the PS5 ecosystem
Useful for an existing PlayStation group. Online play requires PS Plus even if you buy the game; check your account and subscription for any previously claimed access.
Switch 2
Choose for portable play
Nintendo lists handheld, tabletop and TV modes. Online multiplayer still needs stable internet and Nintendo Switch Online.
For a mixed-platform group, choose based on the device each person already owns and can run comfortably. Crossplay means the group does not need to standardize on one storefront.
Price comparison needs a live store check
US Steam, Mac App Store and PlayStation Store each showed $19.99 on September 8, 2026. The August PlayStation Plus claim window has ended; the US store no longer shows that offer. Check your regional store and account entitlements before buying.

No invented resolution, frame-rate or exclusive-content claims
The official pages checked September 8, 2026 do not provide a complete cross-platform resolution/FPS table or identify platform-exclusive game content. Until repeatable tests or official specifications are available, this guide leaves those rows unscored. Crossplay groups should also confirm that the first two game-version numbers match; 1.4.x and 1.5.x do not satisfy that rule.
