Big Walk Platform Comparison
Big Walk is available on Windows, macOS, PS5 and Nintendo Switch 2. Crossplay connects the supported versions.

Current platform list
Where can you play Big Walk?
The official FAQ lists Windows and Mac through Steam, Mac through the Mac App Store, PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch 2. It says no other platforms are planned at this time. That excludes Xbox, PS4 and the original Nintendo Switch from the current list.
Verified platform comparison
| Version | Input and hardware | Online requirement | Published distinction |
|---|---|---|---|
| Windows | Mouse/keyboard and most controllers | Internet and platform account | Adjustable graphics; published minimum and recommended specs |
| macOS | Apple Silicon M1 minimum; controllers supported on computer | Internet; Steam or Mac App Store account | Mac App Store players use Join Codes instead of Game Center friend listings |
| PlayStation 5 | PS5 controller | PS Plus required for online play | Up to 12 online; cloud streaming listed for Premium subscribers |
| Nintendo Switch 2 | TV, tabletop and handheld modes; Switch 2 mouse mode supported | Nintendo Switch Online required | Portable modes and cloud saves listed; published download size varies by regional page |
All listed versions support the same advertised 2–12 player cooperative structure and crossplay. The host's world setting adapts for two, three or four-plus participants.
Which version should you choose?
Windows
Choose for configurable graphics
Best fit when your PC meets the published requirements and you want mouse/keyboard, controller support and graphics controls.
Mac
Choose for Apple Silicon
Confirm macOS 15 and at least an M1 with 16 GB RAM. Use a Join Code on the Mac App Store version when friends-list discovery is unavailable.
PlayStation 5
Choose for the PS5 ecosystem
Useful for an existing PlayStation group. Budget for PS Plus after any time-limited catalog inclusion ends.
Switch 2
Choose for portable play
Nintendo lists handheld, tabletop and TV modes. Online multiplayer still needs stable internet and Nintendo Switch Online.
For a mixed-platform group, choose based on the device each person already owns and can run comfortably. Crossplay means the group does not need to standardize on one storefront.
Price comparison needs a live store check
The announced regular US price is $19.99, but launch discounts, PlayStation Plus inclusion, regional taxes and currency conversion change the checkout price. Open each player's regional store on purchase day. This guide does not convert a current sale into a permanent platform recommendation.
Honest comparison
No invented resolution, frame-rate or exclusive-content claims
The official pages checked for this version do not provide a complete cross-platform resolution/FPS table or identify platform-exclusive game content. Until repeatable tests or official specifications are available, this guide leaves those rows unscored.
