Big Walk Puzzle Hints
Diagnose the symptom before opening a full solution. Most stalled groups are missing a role, a viewpoint, a held button or one key-cutting step.
Direct answer
Name the puzzle symptom, then test one cause at a time
First stage every loose item, assign one observer and one operator, and identify the nearest tower or coordinate. Then match the symptom: missing piece means search from a new angle; rejected number means divide views and recount; inactive key means follow cutter arrows; timer room may require waiting rather than pressing.
Before you start
- Write down the nearest landmark, tower color or map coordinate.
- Put every loose piece and tool in one visible location.
- Ask what changed after the last successful interaction.
Step-by-step
- 1
Missing object
Search the back, underside and outer edge of the structure. Send different players to different regions instead of repeating one camera angle.
- 2
Rejected screen count
Assign every view exactly once, count locally and add only after each player confirms their subtotal.
- 3
Symbol sequence fails
Read from one fixed direction, repeat the sequence back and verify the current session rather than copying another group’s image.
- 4
Sound clue is unclear
Reduce background talk and describe count, rhythm, pitch and direction in short phrases.
- 5
Timer keeps resetting
Stop testing controls. Some rooms require the group to wait for the full countdown.
- 6
Key will not fit
Return to the previous cutter. Insert the key and follow the newly revealed arrow to the next machine.
Still stuck?
- Reload only after recording the current puzzle state and item positions.
- Check the selected 2-, 3- or 4+ world version if a target count seems wrong.
- Use challenge skipping when an ability requirement blocks access; the host enables it in the session accessibility settings.
