Best Tower Order in Big Walk
The colored towers are flexible after the opening bridge. A good order prioritizes navigation and travel rather than pretending there is one mandatory sequence.
Direct answer
Recommended: Red, Blue, Green, then Yellow
Do Red first for the Map Room, Blue second for trains, Green third for the chairlift and Yellow fourth for tunnels. This is a convenience route, not a progression lock: groups can swap towers when nearby prizes or preferred travel systems make another route faster.

Before you start
- Lower the Beach drawbridge; that opening gate is fixed.
- Agree whether the group values navigation, surface travel, high routes or tunnels most.
- Do not spend prizes randomly before deciding the next tower target.
Step-by-step
- 1
Red first: map and compass
Navigation reduces later backtracking and helps the group identify puzzle coordinates and progress markers.
- 2
Blue second: trains
The railway is the strongest general surface-travel unlock and pays off across every later route.
- 3
Green third: chairlift
The lift makes mountain and high-point routes faster. Move it earlier if the group dislikes climbing.
- 4
Yellow fourth: tunnels
The underground network is especially useful for secrets, radio work and late cleanup. Move it earlier if those are the group’s priority.
- 5
Finish with the host log
After each unlock, write down used prizes, the completed key and the meeting landmark before changing routes.
Still stuck?
- If the group has five prizes near another tower, finish that route rather than carrying everything across the island for this recommendation.
- If navigation is the main problem, do not postpone Red.
- If a large group keeps separating, prioritize Blue or Green travel earlier.
