Big Walk Items and Tools Guide

Items are physical team tools, not a menu inventory. Give each tool to the player whose current role can use it.

Carry navigation, communication and route objects by role

Use backpacks and bags for extra carrying capacity, the map and compass for coordinates, radios for separated teams, lanterns and flares for light and signals, and specialized puzzle props only at their matching interaction. Keep one carrying position empty for unexpected keys or prizes.

Before you start

  • Agree who is navigator, runner, signal operator and puzzle caller.
  • Keep keys and red prizes separate from replaceable tools.
  • Ask a teammate to equip wearable items when the wearer cannot attach them alone.

Step-by-step

  1. 1

    Storage

Use a backpack or carrier bag for a route object while keeping a hand available for the map, light or interaction.

  2. 2

    Navigation

Pair the portable map with a compass and repeat coordinates before a runner leaves.

  3. 3

    Long-range communication

Tune handheld radios to the same activated channel and assign one operator per split team.

  4. 4

    Visual signals

Use a flare for “meet here,” a directional light for “look there” and a precise pointer for one control.

  5. 5

    Puzzle objects

Do not carry a key or red prize into an unrelated route. Follow cutter arrows and submit prizes at the active tower.

Visual route

Match the landmark before you move

Authorized gameplay screenshots and route videos are paired with text so the guide still works without media.

Screenshots retain the original game text; videos retain their original audio. Use the captions and written checkpoints alongside them.

Still stuck?

  • If an item is missing, retrace the last handoff and any drop or fall location before assuming it despawned.
  • If a wearable will not attach, move away from walls and let another player aim at the correct body slot.
  • If a community spawn location is empty, check whether another teammate already moved the object.

This page names general tools and travel rewards but avoids ending details.

Broad item uses are documented by community item guides and in-game routes. Individual spawn points can differ or move, so this page does not claim a complete item total.
